Meet Wally the Emotional Support Alligator Who Loves Being Kissed and Hugged
At first glance, he's terrifying, but Wally's really just a big softie.
Wally isn't your typical alligator.
At first glance, he's terrifying, but Wally's really just a big softie. See, Wally is an emotional support animal for Joie Henney of York, Pennsylvania. Where Henney goes, Wally goes.
They sometimes get frightened looks, but Henney tells people that if they just hold Wally, they'll understand the feeling of comfort he provides.
Wally also loves getting kisses and being hugged. Henney describes him as quite the ladies' man.
Wally is a regular at the local day care center, pet store and even the dollar store. At home, the 35-pound gator has free rein of the house. He loves watching TV and even has his own pool.
It's the least Henney can do for Wally, who he says helped him through depression.
"I don't know what I would've done without him," Henney told Inside Edition tearfully.
