Meghan Markle Likens Her Pregnancy Symptoms to 'Jet Lag'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced they were expecting their first child earlier this week.
Meghan Markle has opened up about her recently announced pregnancy, saying it feels like “jet lag.”
As part of their 16-day royal tour through Australia, Tonga, Fiji and New Zealand, Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, visited Bondi Beach in Australia, where the Duchess of Sussex spoke about her experience being pregnant to local resident Charlotte Connell, who is also expecting.
“Meghan told me that pregnancy was like having jet lag,” Connell, 35, said, as reported by Sky News. “She said she was up at 4:30 a.m. this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn’t sleep.”
Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, is a yoga instructor and the duchess has been practicing since she was a child.
Kensington Palace announced the pregnancy on Monday.The baby is due in spring 2019.
Sources had previously said the couple would try for children “right away” after their May wedding.
