New mom Meghan Markle shared a sweet picture of baby Archie’s feet on Instagram, commemorating her very first Mother’s Day. She recognized all the moms on the special holiday, writing, "Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you."
Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you. Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe. This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex. She also shared a poem by author Nayyirah Waheed, from her 2013 poetry collection “salt.”
There’s also a not-so-hidden gem in the picture. The background is filled with forget me nots — a nod to Prince Harry’s late mom. They were reportedly Princess Diana’s favorite flower.
Less than a week ago, the Duke of Sussex gushed to the media about the arrival of his new son.
"We're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy. We hope to spend some precious time with him as he slowly starts to grow up," he said.
