Meghan Markle's Father Gets Fitted for Custom Suit Ahead of Royal Wedding

Thomas Markle will meet Prince Harry for the first time next week.

With just 10 days until Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tie the knot, her dad has been spotted getting measured for a custom suit to wear during the wedding festivities.

The suit was later brought to Thomas Markle's home in Mexico for a final fitting ahead of the May 19 ceremony.

Markle, a 73-year-old retired lighting director, also took time to read up on her new life with Harry at a local internet cafe.

He will meet Prince Harry for the first time next week. It comes amid news that the actress' half-brother sent a nasty handwritten letter to Prince Harry, claiming their dad "didn't get an invite" to the royal wedding.

"Meghan loves her dad," a source tells People magazine. "Like any father-daughter relationship, there have been ups and downs over the years. But they are in a good place now."

Meantime, a British teen scored a coveted invite to the royal wedding. Leonora Ncomanzi, 13, met the couple during their visit to her school in Nottingham, England, in December.

She says she was "speechless" when she got the news and "screamed for five minutes."

"They don't speak to us like they're royalty, they speak to us like we're friends," she told the BBC. "I'm looking forward to the wedding a lot. I can't wait to see Meghan again."

Ahead of the nuptials, a new Lifetime movie, "Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance" will air Sunday May 13.
