Meghan McCain Sounds Off on Trump's Weekend Twitter Storm

The daughter of the late John McCain fires back at Trump and his "pathetic life" after the president took aim at her father.

“The View” co-host Meghan McCain went on a defensive rant about President Trump after he slammed her late father in a Twitter storm over the weekend.

“Your life is spent on weekends not with your family, not with your friends but obsessing — obsessing on great men you can never live up to. That tells you everything you need to know about his pathetic life right there,” Meghan McCain furiously said Monday morning.

Trump called the late John McCain “last in his class at Annapolis” on his favorite social media platform on Saturday.

Meghan McCain was quick to slam the president’s tweet.

She has since retweeted positive stories on her father, the late Arizona senator who was taken prisoner during the Vietnam War.

Trump went on a 50-tweet blitz over the weekend, which included a plea to reinstate Judge Jeanine Pirro at Fox News. She was suspended over remarks she made about Rep. Ilhan Omar.

He also took aim at “Saturday Night Live" by threatening the show with a federal investigation.

“It's truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live...can spend all their time knocking the same person (me), over & over... Should federal election commission or FCC look into this?” he tweeted.

“SNL” cast member Leslie Jones fired back at the president, calling him an “idiot” on Instagram.

The Twitter tirade continued Monday with the president calling former Vice President Joe Biden “another low IQ individual.”
