Michelle Obama Turns Heads in $4,000 Gold Thigh-High Boots
The former first lady wore the Balenciaga boots to sit down for an interview with fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker in Brooklyn.
Michelle Obama stepped out in shimmery gold thigh-high stiletto boots that cost nearly $4,000 in Brooklyn, New York, Wednesday night.
Obama, who is on the last leg of her book tour for "Becoming," sat down with fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker at the Barclays Center for an interview.
The distinctive gold boots are made by designer Balenciaga.
"Becoming," the former first lady’s autobiography, hit shelves last month and quickly became the fastest-selling book of 2018. It sold more than 1.4 million copies in its first week.
Obama wasn't the only member of her family turning heads Wednesday, as the former president played Santa Claus to children in need.
Barack Obama made a surprise visit at children’s hospital in the nation’s capital carrying a giant red bag filled with presents and a donning a red Santa hat.
He went room to room spreading holiday cheer.
One little girl was so surprised, she was shaking as he gave her a hug.
