Mom's Amazing Lip-Syncing to Kelly Clarkson Song Embarrasses Son to No End
Blake said he's used to his mom's wild antics.
One mother was having a blast singing along to Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” while embarrassing her son at the same time at a recent college basketball game.
Mom Mandy Remmell and 10-year-old son, Blake, were caught on the fan cam during a University of Maryland basketball game.
She was lip-syncing to the Clarkson song and then turned to Blake, who didn’t want any part in her antics.
Blake hid his face inside his hoodie while Mandy continued rocking out to the tune. She was so enthusiastic even Clarkson herself took notice, tweeting: "That is my kind of mama.”
Remmell doesn't regret her unabashed performance, though it came at the embarrassment of her son.
“I just started singing because it kind of makes your soul feel good,” she told Inside Edition. “Once I see that he's embarrassed, we keep going at him, but it's all in good fun, he likes it."
Blake said he's used to his mom performing in public. "My mom does crazy stuff like that,” he told Inside Edition.
“He'll look back years from now and be like ‘OK, OK, that was a lot of fun,’” she added of her son’s embarrassment.
