New York Woman Who Just Turned 107 Says Secret to Long Life Is Never Getting Married
Louise Signore owes her longevity to one thing in particular: staying single.
A New York woman who recently celebrated her 107th birthday said she owes her longevity to one thing in particular.
"I think the secret of 107 is I never got married," Louise Signore told WCBS. "I think that's the secret."
Signore, who lives in the Bronx, continues to inspire her friends.
"She got no walking cane, no wheelchair, she does all her shopping, she's awesome," buddy Deborah Whitaker told the station.
Signore also said that staying active is important. She plays bocci and loves dancing.
As for her diet? She's a big fan of Italian, but keeps away from fizzy beverages and desserts.
"Italian food, italian food is very good for you," she said. "I was brought up with very good food. No soda, no cake."
One thing she's over at 107?
"I've had enough parties!" she declared.
