Newborn Babies Zip Up Red Sweaters in Time for Mr. Rogers Biopic
The newborns donned little, red cardigans and ties of their own.
What pulls at our heart strings more than Mr. Rogers? Babies dressed like him.
In honor of World Kindness Day, newborn babies at West Penn Hospital in Pennsylvania dressed to honor Pittsburgh-native Fred Rogers, who starred in "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" in his signature cardigan and tie for years.
The newborns donned little, red cardigans and ties of their own for the day.
“The babies are so adorable. It puts a guaranteed smile on everyone’s face!” said Stephanie Waite, communications adviser at the hospital.
The parents to these little models will get to keep a photo of their children dressed as Mr. Rogers, along with the costumes.
A new movie on the beloved TV host, “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood," starring Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers, comes out next week as well.
