Newly Sworn-In Police Officer Proposes at Graduation Ceremony
Officer Julian Padron wasted no time.
It was a double celebration for a Florida man who proposed to his girlfriend right after being sworn in as a police officer.
Julian Padron graduated the police academy and became a member of Miami-Dade Police Department on Thursday.
While standing during the ceremony, he suddenly turned and got down on one knee, popping the question to his girlfriend, who was sitting alongside him.
She quickly said yes and the crowded room erupted in cheers.
"He got a shiny new badge. She got a shiny new ring," the police department wrote on their Facebook page.
