Ostrich on the Loose Cuts Off Motorists, Merges Into Roundabout
This feathered beast proved its merit as the fastest birth on Earth.
A fully-grown ostrich caused quite the disruption in Yunnan, China, when it escaped its keeper and dashed into the streets.
Pedestrians, motorists and police officers alike could be seen dropping their jaws and doing double takes at the stunning sight.
The ostrich could be seen first sprinting down the sidewalk then making its way into traffic, cutting off motorcycles and trolley drivers alike.
And, it lived up to its title as the fastest bird in the world, when it could be seen outpacing cars and trucks, and holding its own on the freeway.
At least the feathered giant made an attempt to observe traffic laws when merging into a roundabout.
