Parents of 13 Children Gifted With $5,000 From Secret Santa After Dad Suffers Aneurysm
The family was emotional when they received the gift.
The parents of 13 children got a welcome Christmas surprise after a hard year.
The lives of Rachel and Russell Keppner were turned upside down when Russell suffered a brain aneurysm earlier this year and had to be hospitalized.
This left Rachel, who had been a stay-at-home mom, the only working parent in the house.
Although Russell made it home in time for Christmas, a Secret Santa wanted to give the family a gift to make their lives a little bit easier.
A reporter from East Idaho News surprised the family with a check for $5,000 as they ate at a local restaurant.
In a moment captured on video, Rachel breaks down in tears as soon as she realizes what it is.
“Thank you!” was all she could manage to say.
