Pretty in About-to-Be Pink: Baby Flamingos Arrive at British Zoo in Flurry of Fluffy Gray
The flamingo chicks won't turn pink until they are 6 months old.
Baby flamingos are busy hatching at the Chester Zoo in Great Britain.
There are now 21 fuzzy chicks at the facility, in bland shades of gray. They won't turn pink for six months.
They are fed by hand four times a day and will need special care for another five weeks.
The Carribean flamingos are a favorite exhibit at the popular zoo.
