Prince William Hints at Baby Son's Name as Harry Taps Him as Best Man

It wasn't really a hint... but maybe!

Prince Harry is getting closer and closer to being a married man and this week he's announced who will help guide him into wedded life.

In a shock to no one, Harry has named big bro William as best man for his May 19 nuptials.

Harry was William's best man when he married Kate Middleton in 2011. When Harry weds Meghan Markle at St George's Chapel, William is due to return the favor.

While Kate Middleton also opted to have a sibling at her side in Pippa Middleton, Markle is widely expected to choose Canadian fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney as her matron of honor.

Meanwhile, as the princes gear up for the big day, William was back on royal duties Wednesday following the birth of his third child.

William was joined by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at an ANZAC Day service in London when the group met Sir Jerry Mateparae, New Zealand High Commissioner to the U.K. in Westminster Abbey.

During the introduction, the Dean of Westminster joked about the still unknown and eagerly anticipated name for the fifth in line to the throne, saying: "Jerry would like it to be Jerry."

William replied: "Jerry's a strong name," which led some to wonder if the family had chosen the unlikely name of Jerry for the newest prince.

Probably not, say experts. But then Alexander Downer, Australia's High Commissioner, repeated Jerry's joke: "Congratulations too. Have you thought of the name Alexander at all?"

And William said: "Well, it's funny you should say that... it's a good name."

Many insiders have suggested the son will be given an A name, giving royal baby name oddsmakers pause, The Sun reported. Then again, William's first son and likely future successor, Prince George, already has that as his middle name.
