Teen Runner Could Be the Next Usain Bolt
Matthew Boling hopes to go to the Olympics.
Usain Bolt, you've got some competition.
Matthew Boling, 18, recently put on an insanely impressive showing at a Texas high school race, running the 100-meter dash in 9.98 seconds, a mere 4/10th of a second off the world record set by Bolt in 2009.
"It felt great," he told Inside Edition. "I knew it was going to be a good time. As soon as I crossed the line, I was thinking, 'That's a good time.'"
So what's next?
Boling, whose nickname is "White Lightning," is heading to the University of Georgia come September, and he hopes to one day make the Olympics.
Bolt, watch out.
