Thieves Steal $500,000 Worth of Jewelry in Heist That Was All Caught on Camera
The smash-and-grab took place inside a North Carolina mall.
A couple of burglary suspects managed to steal half a million dollars' worth of merchandise from one North Carolina jewelry store.
In just six minutes, the owners of Artisan Jewelers in Cary say the thieves made off with loot that included gold, diamonds and pricey watches.
The smash-and-grab blitz can all be seen in store surveillance footage and the owner believes the suspects had been in their store before.
Because they appeared to target six cases that had the most valuable items including gold, diamonds, and Rolex watches, owner Malik Saeed believes the thieves staked out his store ahead of the burglary.
A post shared by the store on Facebook indicates there is a reward for the suspects' capture.
The incident happened in the early morning hours before the mall where the store is located opened for business.
Both were dressed in dark hoodies or masks. One appears to have a distinctive walk.
