One man is saying a fortune cookie predicted his lottery windfall. 

The Washington state man, who was not identified, said he opened a fortune cookie to find three fortunes inside. Two of them said, “Buy a ticket. All your financial troubles will soon be solved."

So he decided to heed the advice. The man bought a Hit 5 ticket and won $125,000. 

"Who knew my day would be turned upside down by the message on a fortune cookie?" he said.

He said he plans to celebrate his win with a sushi dinner.
