The two have traded the top spot a few times in 2019, with T-Series holding at No. 1 for five minutes on March 9 to five days from March 27 to April 1. Currently PewDiePie is ahead, but the recording label is again closing the gap.

So what should you know about T-Series?

Shehnaaz Jagasia, who runs the Shehnaaz Dance Academy in Jersey City, New Jersey, and was born and raised in India, sat down with InsideEdition.com to explain the origins of the channel and walk us through some of its most popular videos, including "Lahore," which has been viewed more than 700 million times.
