The reign of PewDiePie is coming to an end.
For years, the Swedish gamer has been the king of YouTube, with tens of millions of subscribers. But his time on top may soon be over.
Another channel is quickly closing in on PewDiePie: T-Series.
The Indian music label that produces Bollywood-style videos already has more views than PewDiePie, over 51 billion to his 18 billion. T-Series has seen a bump in subscribers as well, having just surpassed 67 million. PewDiePie is just below 67.3 million.
PewDiePie isn't taking the competition lying down — he recently released a diss track directed at the channel "So, come on T-Series looking hungry for some drama / Here, let me serve you b**** lasagna," he says.
T-Series will blow past PewDiePie on Monday, Oct. 29, according to research firm Tubular Labs.
