YouTuber Markiplier Tearfully Steps Away Following Niece's Death

A popular YouTube gamer shared a sad message for his millions of fans.
Mark Fischbach, better known as Markiplier to his 20 million followers, fought back tears as he talked about a tragedy that has hit his family hard.
"I just found out 30 minutes ago that my niece Miranda was killed in a car crash," the anguished 28-year-old revealed Sunday.
Markiplier, who hails from Cincinnati, is renowned for his "Let's Play" videos, in which he provides on-screen commentary to games as he plays them.
He's so famous that he even appeared on Jimmy Kimmel in 2014 to tell the world what he does.
Now, his legion of fans is showing him support.
"We are here for you Mark," wrote one commenter as part of a sentiment that was echoed thousands of times in his channel's comments.
In the wake of the tragedy, Markiplier couldn't say when he would return to gaming.
"I'll let you know when I get back," he said.
