18-Year-Old Plunges to His Death While Taking Selfie at Yosemite National Park

Officials ruled his death an accident.
An Israeli teen tragically fell to his death while reportedly trying to take a selfie as he visited Yosemite National Park.
The 18-year-old, Tomer Frankfurter, fell hundreds of feet to his death while hiking near the top of the nearly 600-foot-high Nevada Fall in the California park.
Frankfurter's fall was ruled an accident by assistant coroner Andrea Stewart, CBS reported.
Frankfurter’s body will be transferred back to Israel, The Jerusalem Post reported.
This isn’t the first time someone has fallen to their death while trying to snap an epic selfie.
An Indian man, Prabhu Bhatara, was mauled to death while trying to take a selfie with a bear in May.
A 16-year-old reportedly died after falling 65 feet from a popular Australian clifftop, Cape Solander, while taking a selfie in July.
