The Silver Linings Playbook star has earned $46 million in 2016. The earnings are actually a drop from the previous year, when she made $52 million, according to the magazine.
Lawrence's impressive earnings consist largely of a profit slice from the big box office gross of the final Hunger Games installment and a mammoth upfront fee for the forthcoming film, Passengers, with Chris Pratt.
The Oscar winner tops Forbes' list for the second year in a row.
Melissa McCarthy was second on the list, making $33 million dollars in 2016. McCarthy shot up in the rankings thanks to her reported eight-figure payday for Ghostbusters,
Scarlett Johansson came in at No. 3, earning $25 million. She reportedly earned a whopping $17.5 million for her upcoming controversial role as the lead in the Japanese anime film Ghost in the Shell.
Friends star Jennifer Aniston ranks at No. 4, banking $21 million. Besides her roles on the big screen, the actress has made millions in commercial endorsements like Smart Water and Aveeno.
