Beyonce Breaks the Internet: After Pregnancy Reveal, Singer Shares Her Most Intimate Photos Yet
The photo that announced the baby news has broken a record as the most-liked Instagram pic.
After Beyonce posted her pregnancy announcement on Instagram Wednesday, the image has tallied more than 8 million likes and counting on the social media platform.
All the love from fans has made the image the most liked photo ever posted to Instagram.
The 35-year-old singer announced that she is carrying twins, but refrained from revealing the genders, the due date or how far along she is.
On her website Thursday, Beyonce shared more images from her pregnancy shoot including one where she is nude and another where she is underwater.
She also shared one with her five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Oddly, husband Jay Z is not in any of the new shots.
In the past, the "Crazy in Love" singer has shared intimate never-before-seen family photos of her wedding to the "Empire State of Mind" rapper, their vacations, and her pregnancy with Blue Ivy.
The news of her pregnancy comes just a couple weeks after Beyonce was announced to perform at April’s Coachella music festival in California alongside Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead as the top headliners.
Executives at AEG, the parent company that owns Coachella, had “no idea” she was pregnant, according to TMZ.
A source told the gossip site that executives believe she is “four, maybe five months” into her pregnancy, and it remains “unclear” whether she will actually perform in two months’ time at the annual festival at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio.
