10-Year-Old With Down Syndrome Dances to Lady Gaga Halftime Show: 'He Was, in Fact, Born That Way'
"This is a song about identity, and I think it's very important that disability be part of that conversation," his dad said.
"This is a song about identity, and I think it's very important that disability be part of that conversation," his dad, David Perry, told InsideEdition.com. "He's very happy with who he is, and he was in fact, 'Born That Way.'"
Perry joked that instead of dancing like no one's watching, his son "insists that we watch him dance. He wants eyes on him."
Nico has been enjoying music since before he was born, his parents joked. His current favorites include Alanis Morissette, Flogging Molly, and the Hamilton soundtrack.
"He actually doesn't like [Lady Gaga]," Perry admitted, "but he loves the Super Bowl halftime shows."
