Amy Schumer's Dad in Tears as He Meets His Hollywood Crush, Goldie Hawn

Hawn and Schumer are starring together in the new film, "Snatched," which opens next week.

Tears were flowing as Amy Schumer's dad met the woman of his dreams — Goldie Hawn.

In a video posted on Instagram Tuesday, the Trainwreck actress can be seen coaching her dad, Gordon, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, about greeting his celebrity crush.

“Play it cool," she says. "You got to play it really cool."

He insisted he couldn’t play it cool — and that's when Hawn walked into the room.

Gordon Schumer gasped, and then the waterworks started. He was clearly thrilled to meet the “love of his life.”

Hawn and Schumer have teamed up to star in the action-comedy Snatched, which opens in theaters next week.
