Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos Reportedly Purchases Lavish $80 Million Apartment in New York

The world's richest man is reportedly purchasing a penthouse for $80 million.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is reportedly buying an $80 million apartment in a Manhattan high-rise.
The residence, which combines three units, comes with epic views of the Empire State Building as it sits at 212 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan’s Flatiron district.
The world’s richest man will have 17,000 square feet of living space, which is plenty of room to make himself at home in the Big Apple.
Real estate magazine The Real Deal is reporting that the entire apartment is a city block long, which means Bezos will have to walk a block inside his place just to get to the master bedroom.
“This penthouse has been designed for somebody who wants a large lifestyle in New York, in the center of Manhattan,” said Mara Flash Blum of Sotheby’s International Realty told CBS New York.
