Country Singer Gretchen Wilson Arrested After Becoming 'Belligerent:' Police

She was charged with breach of peace.

Country singer Gretchen Wilson was arrested following a minor incident on a plane Monday.

The Grammy winner posed for a mugshot at a Connecticut police station with her eyes closed, appearing out of it.

Wilson was flying into Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks Monday evening when police were dispatched to the airport. Police said Wilson, 45, became belligerent while they interviewed her.

During the flight, Wilson reportedly got into a shoving match with another passenger over who was first in line for the restroom. When the plane touched down Wilson was placed under arrest.

The singer was charged with breach of peace.

"While interviewing the accused on the jetway, she became belligerent toward the troopers and caused a disturbance,” according to the police report.

The singer posted the $1,000 bond and has a September court appearance for her arraignment.
