A daughter delivered a heartfelt birthday surprise to her mom.
At one point, Sabrina Long was raising her daughter, Shalanda Thurmond, and her two brothers with no more than $20 to her name.
Thurmond, now 30, always appreciated how hard Long worked to give them a good life growing up, so for her mom's 51st birthday this year, she saved up more than $3,000.
She wove the money together into a chain, which she dropped into a box and gave to her mother to open, video from T&T Creative Media shows.
“I want her to be able to get whatever she wants with that money," said Thurmond.
