Evan Perlmutter is officially a Los Angeles Lakers fan.

A lifelong New York Knicks supporter has sold his fandom on eBay for $3,500 after becoming "infuriated" with the organization.

Evan Perlmutter, 33, grew up on Long Island and has backed the team since he was a child, but it appears he has now changed his position.

“Infuriated New York Knicks fan has had enough, selling my fanhood," he wrote in the listing.

Perlmutter vented his frustration in the item description on eBay.

“I hate the Knicks. I love the Knicks, but I hate the Knicks. Die-hard New York Knicks fan. My childhood room is still filled with posters from the 90’s, the good ole glory days,” he wrote. “After all the ups, downs, more downs, more downs, infinite downs.

"I have reached my absolute breaking point.  As of this moment, my New York Knicks fan-hood is officially for sale. What is included in bidding on my new fan-hood? I will honor the team of your choosing and be a fan."

YouTube star James Riedel, 23, of Orange County, California, purchased Perlmutter’s fandom on Aug. 24, thus causing the seller to now cheer for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I am a lifelong LeBron James fan, and a Lakers fan of a month and half," Riedel told Bleacher Report in an email. "I originally thought about turning Evan into a Nets fan for the torment, but I feel like he should be able to root for the King before he retires."

Riedel also told Bleacher Report he plans on attending the Lakers games alongside Perlmutter and record videos of him burning his Knicks merchandise.

The Knicks told Bleacher Report in a statement that they are focused on their dedicated fans.

"We're sure our millions of loyal Knicks fans won't mind losing this attention-grabbing gentleman," the team told Bleacher Report. "We remain focused on the upcoming season — with a hard-working team that is proud to represent New York and its dedicated fans."
