One rapper was killed and another rapper's girlfriend was wounded in a series of Miami-area shootings, according to reports.
Police are investigating a series of Miami-area shootings that wounded the girlfriend of rapper NBA YoungBoy, killed another rapper and killed a man leaving work to celebrate Mother's Day, according to reports.
"There are a lot of unanswered questions," Miami-Dade Police Department spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta said at a press conference.
At least seven people were being questioned as of Monday in the Sunday afternoon shooting of Kaylyn Marie Long, 19, outside Trump International Beach Resort Miami, according to The Associated Press. She was identified as YoungBoy's girlfriend by the Miami Herald.
The shooting at Sunny Isles Beach killed 43-year-old Mohamad Jradi, the paper reported. He was sitting in his van across the street and was leaving work to be with his family when a bullet struck him in the head, according to the wire service.
Another stray bullet grazed a 5-year-old boy, who was treated and released by paramedics at the scene.
NBA YoungBoy was scheduled to perform Sunday at Miami's Rolling Loud Music Festival in Miami Gardens.
Outside the Cameo nightclub in Miami Beach on Saturday, Chicago rapper AAB Hellabandz, 24, was shot to death. No arrests have been made, authorities said.
A message left by InsideEdition.com with the Miami-Dade Police Department was not immediately returned.
