Authorities also arrested her boyfriend, who was charged with third-degree domestic violence.
Mama June allegedly had crack cocaine and a crack pipe with her when she was arrested last week, officials said.
June Shannon, star of WE tv's "From Not to Hot," was arrested on drug possession charges in Alabama, the Macon County District Attorney’s Office told People in a statement, adding that the substance was allegedly crack cocaine and is undergoing testing.
The latest detail was revealed after Shannon was arrested on Wednesday at a gas station with boyfriend Geno Doak. According to TMZ, authorities arrived after callers reported two people in a confrontation. Authorities also arrested Doak, who was charged with third-degree domestic violence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, the office told People.
The two were seen in photos in the back of a sheriff's truck before being taken to jail. Shannon's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 27, People reported.
