Man Arrested After Allegedly Throwing Iguana at Restaurant Manager

Police were called to a Perkins restaurant in Painesville, Ohio, on Thursday after a man allegedly pulled an iguana from underneath his shirt, and swung it around by its tail and threw it at the manager before fleeing, authorities said.

Police were called to a Perkins restaurant in Painesville on Thursday after a man allegedly pulled an iguana from underneath his shirt and swung it around by its tail before he threw it at the manager and fled, authorities said.
The 49-year-old, who has not been identified, was later found a few blocks from the establishment and arrested.
He’s been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
The iguana, which police have named “Copper,” was given to the Lake County Humane Society, according to reports.
