Bomb disposal crews in Hong Kong are working to defuse a decades-old bomb that was found during construction. Alick McWhirter, a bomb disposal officer with the Hong Kong Police, told reporters, "The bomb is in a dangerous condition. The fuse mechanism is severely damaged. And the position of the bomb is making it difficult for our equipment to gain optimum access." Police sealed off the area to protect the public from the American-made 1,000-pound explosive.
