Marissa Camacho's calm demeanor and sense of humor helped her through losing her hand. In 2025, after she'd just moved to Hawaii, she and her boyfriend were in a motorcycle crash. The way she fell off the bike led to a compound humerus fracture that severed a vein. After several attempts to save her hand, doctors made the difficult decision to amputate. This led to Marissa discovering a whole new world and purpose.
