    Several NYPD Officers Injured In House Explosion

    April 30, 2026

    An explosion sent several NYPD officers to the hospital during an early morning call. Officials say it happened when officers were responding to a house in Queens that called 911 regarding a domestic dispute with a weapon involved. Officers were trying to get into the home when it exploded. Even though they were injured, some officers still went into the house after hearing children crying. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
