Common Flu Caused 11-Year-Old To Have A Stroke

Camila Nino was healthy and active before getting the flu earlier this year. A month later, the 11-year-old began feeling sick while in athletics class and was rushed to the hospital. After hours of testing, doctors learned she had an ischemic stroke. Doctors also told her parents that the stroke was the aftermath of having the flu.
