Bodycam Footage Shows Florida Deputies Saving Woman After Car is Submerged in Water

Florida deputies saved a woman after her vehicle drove off road and into a retention pond on April 5. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says 911 dispatchers received a phone call from a woman who said she had lost control of her vehicle, causing it to enter the body of water. When the driver called 911, she told the dispatcher she could not swim, deputies arrived within seconds and broke the window of the car in order to pull the woman to safety.
