D.A. To Reopen Investigation Of Alleged Gang Rape At Ivy League Fraternity

There was outrage nationwide about an alleged scandal at prestigious Cornell University in New York. In a lawsuit filed two weeks ago, a female student claims seven male students at the Ivy League college drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2024. On Monday, after the woman’s allegations generated widespread criticism, the district attorney said his office will reopen the investigation and reconsider its decision not to file criminal charges. He added that the original statement provided by the woman to police did not warrant criminal charges but he would now let a grand jury decide. Inside Edition's Ann Mercogliano has the latest.
