Priest Killed During Mass When Giant Crucifix Falls On Him

A priest was killed by a falling cross as he stood at the altar celebrating Mass. Worshippers rushed to help him in a ceremony that was being livestreamed on social media Saturday from a Catholic church in Ecuador. Father Patricio Sánchez of Perpetuo Socorro Church in Guayaquil was leading the service when a giant crucifix broke from a wall and crashed onto him, to the horror of witnesses.
