Kouri Richins Sentenced To Life Without Parole For Poisoning Husband

The children's book author who poisoned her husband learned her fate Wednesday. Kouri Richins watched and made faces during her former sister-in-law's testimony. She also appeared to be rolling her eyes during a statement from another sister-in-law. The real estate agent was convicted in March of murdering her husband Eric at their Utah home by spiking his cocktail with fentanyl. A year after Eric Richins' murder, the mother-of-three wrote a children's book about dealing with grief and promoted it on a local tv station.
