'Hero Mom' Rescues Surfer From Rocks Collision

A woman on a walk along the shore near San Diego suddenly captured a terrifying sight on her phone: a surfer being slammed into sharp rocks by a powerful wave. The witness, 39-year-old Benita Karo, tells Inside Edition she took action fast, jumping into the water fully-clothed. Bystanders called 911 and the surfer was rushed to the hospital. Now, the surfer, 75-year-old Bob Asselin, says Karo saved his life.
