Divers Find Ancient Roman Shipwreck With Hundreds Of Jars

Italy's Cultural Heritage Protection Unit recently released video of a remarkable underwater find. They say a shipwreck dating back to ancient Rome was discovered off the coast of Sicily. Footage shows hundreds of intact ceramic jars, known as amphorae. Amphorae were used to transport things like wine and olive oil. Italy's culture minister told reporters the 2,000-year-old find is “one of the most important underwater archaeological discoveries of recent years."
