Alexis Sharkey’s Husband Takes His Life as Marshals Try to Arrest Him for Murder

The husband of an Instagram influencer who was killed last year has taken his own life as authorities tried to arrest him for murder. The body of Alexis Sharkey, 26, was discovered on the side of a road in Texas two days after Thanksgiving 2020. After it was determined that she had been strangled, police say a lengthy investigation followed. As U.S. Marshals tried to arrest Thomas Sharkey, 50, on a murder warrant, they say he took his own life. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
