Amanda Gorman Inspired This 15-Year-Old to Use Poetry to Express Herself

Amanda Gorman’s inauguration poem was meant to inspire people, and 15-year-old Isabella Hanson is definitely one of them. In 2020, Isabella launched a nationwide poetry contest called “I Matter” through the National Youth Foundation, in order to give kids and teens a voice about racial tensions and civil unrest. Isabella says poetry is “a simple way to just express how we feel and not just keep everything bottled up.” Inside Edition Digital has more.
