Birds Are Flying into Homes and Buildings

One group in Washington D.C. is working to save birds who are injured flying into homes and buildings. “This is a huge problem," Lisbeth Fuiz, volunteer with Lights Out DC, told CBS News. Experts say millions of birds die in the U.S. every year from window collisions. "And these are migratory birds, so we are interested in documenting this problem so that, um, people become aware of the issue,” Fuiz said. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has more.
