Could New Scientology Ad Influence Danny Masterson’s Rape Trial?

A new ad promoting Scientology aired during the NBA season opener in Los Angeles, where the Danny Masterson rape trial is underway. Attorney Brian Claypool says the commercial is airing at a time when the controversial church is taking center stage at the trial. In court, one of Masterson's accusers testified the actor tried to buy her silence by getting her to sign a $400,000 non-disclosure agreement. She says she had to either sign the agreement or risk being excommunicated from the church.
