Daniel Penny Says He Did Not Intend for Jordan Neely to Die
The 22-year-old Marine veteran charged in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely on the New York City subway is speaking out for the first time. Daniel Penny says he acted out of fear after the 30-year-old street performer entered the subway and allegedly started threatening passengers. Penny says in no way did he intend for Neely to die. The district attorney impaneled a grand jury to decide if Penny will be formally indicted in the case.
