Doris Day’s Grandson Claims He Couldn’t See Her for the Last 14 Years

Doris Day's only grandson says he was kept from seeing the Hollywood legend for the last fourteen years of her life. Ryan Melcher posted sweet photos with his grandmother when he was a child on Facebook but claims later in life he was prevented from seeing her by her manager. Day’s publicist, Charley Walters, says Day’s manager disputes her grandson's story and called the allegations upsetting.
