Elk Attacks Deputies Trying to Help After Antlers Caught in Swing in Washington

An elk in need of help was its own worst enemy. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department in Washington state got a call about a bull elk that got its antlers stuck in the rope of a tree swing. Two deputies went out to free it, but they proceeded with caution. They attempted to clip the ropes and free the elk, but this animal was on guard. Still unaware that it was being helped, the elk attacked one of the deputies. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
