ESPN Reporter Edward Ashoff Is Believed to Have Died on Birthday from Pneumonia
December 26, 2019
ESPN reporter Edward Aschoff died on Christmas Eve. It was his 34th birthday. The cause of his death is believed to be pneumonia. The journalist tweeted on Dec. 5 “I had a virus for two weeks…the doctors think it turned into multifocal pneumonia recently.” About one million people will seek medical attention for pneumonia this winter. Doctors expect more patients than usual because of what’s predicted to be an unusually high flu season.
